iPoe Vol. 1 - Edgar Allan Poe App Reviews

Well, I really like Edgar Allan Poes works anyway, so I was certain that I would like this app, too. I must say that this is really well made: The "special effects" really fit and dont disturb the flow of reading. Poes stories are already enough to give you goosebumps, but with this app you experience them in an entirely new way.

A great way to experience Poe, and a model of how to properly use technology to enhance classic storytelling. The art and music are wonderful, and the direction is top notch. Im off to buy volume 2!

One of the most beautiful Apps Ive ever seen. I usually dont rate apps but this one is just so beautiful and done with so much love, every detail leaves me speechless. I am looking forward to buy the second episode as soon as it is a bit cheaper. Enjoy!

Its such a short, but awesome app! If the stories were a tad more interactive it wouldve made them a whole lot better! Its still an app worth dow loading!

Maybe Im just a bit of a slow reader but the music-loop thing seemed a little short for me, it just didnt last long enough ... But I just have issues like that so dont mind me, the app is great!

It breathes a new energy to Poe. Female characters may be portrayed a little too sexy but character Poe is hot though.

The stories of E. A. Poe are already a piece of art, and when this is combined with the right storytelling it gets really exciting! In this app Music and pictures are combined with the words in such a great way, that the reader is thrilled!

Get it! Its fun, it does crash and its scary enough! Nice work ill be buying the second one for sure.

This enhanced book does a great job of presenting Poes stories. You sense the impending doom as you flip each page, not knowing what the artist has in store for you. Wear headphones!!!

What a way to experience the work of Poe. Amazing!

Just a very awesome expierience. Arguable is the Price. Everything is illustrated and animated nice and I enjoyed every minute, but for 3 short stories (whilst 1 is actually a short poem) it might be a bit too much. At least it is holding me back to buy iPoe 2.

A really fun thing!! Quite creepy & beautifully portrayed tales.I wouldnt,read it at night,I would advise!Bring on the rest of his tales. Hauntingly brilliant artwork. A new twist on an old favourite! More stories will be like this in the future I know it.

You may think. This is strange but I like use it to meditate. I look at the picture animation and listen to the music which is great. I have not read the story yet. So for meditation it is good.

This really needs a translation into german language :( Even a skilled english reader cant understand those fancy words
